Today I worked on the lesson plan, Alexa worked on the Powerpoint, and Corey worked on the lesson paper. We all helped each other out, like I helped Alexa make a computer rocket and I helped Corey do his intro in the paper. Corey had to leave early, so he has to do the rest of the paper for homework.

I finished the lesson plan and the worksheet. Tomorrow I will do the activity sheet and get the balloons at the store. The balloons will be used to demonstrate action and reaction forces: when you blow up a balloon and let it go, the air gets pushed out. The reaction force is the baloon flying around, making loud noises. Im sure this will make a fun and exciting lesson.

We are doing more group research today.
I am creating a note sheet collage for our group and Mr.Davis.
I just got Microsoft Office 2007 and I am using it a lot.
Today I cropped and refined my notes, making them easier to understand and more condensed. Tomorrow we are going to share our note pages, and I want to make a unified note page.

My First Day: Rocket Project
This is my first entry on the first day of my first project...
For this project, we will be building bottle rockets, but first we need to do careful research and planning. Our group's topic is the physics of rockets. We need to find out what forces are at work on a rocket. My personal role will be the Lesson Architect. As lesson architect, my responsibilities are to lead the design of the lesson plan by soliciting input from all group members. I am in charge of creating the lesson plan and the post-lesson reflection. Everyone has to write daily blog reflections and the lesson presentation.
